WATCH: Donovan Mitchell's Highlights From 2023 NBA All-Star Game
Donovan Mitchell put on a show for Cleveland Cavaliers and NBA fans at the 2023 All-Star Game. He clearly had a little extra motivation in the game being voted as a starter and with the game being back in Utah where he spent the first part of his career.
The starting shooting guard for Team Giannis went off from being the arc and put on a spectacular display of shooting. I thought that Spida would at least get one dunk in the game, but he chose to make to focus on shooting and assisting his teammates.
Here are his highlights from Sunday night:
Mitchell finished the night with 40 points while shooting 60 percent from the field and 47.1 percent from three. He also dished out 10 assists to go on top of that. His 40 points were the second-highest on either team.
In any other year, this would be in contention for All-Star MVP, however, Jayson Tatum had something to say about this. The Boston Celtics forward finished with 55 points which set a new All-Star Game record.
Mitchell may not have won the MVP but he still put on a fantastic show for fans and was a great representation of the Cavs and the NBA which is what All-Star Weekend is all about.
