REPORT: Kevin Love To Sign With The Miami Heat /

What a whirlwind week and a half it's been for Kevin Love and Cleveland Cavaliers fans. After initially being told by Koby Altman that Love would not be bought out, the five-time All-Star and the Cavs organization reached an agreement making him a free agent.

It all happened late at night following Cleveland's final game before the All-Star break.

There were numerous rumors and reports on where Love may end up once he was fully bought out by the Cavs. This included teams such as the Suns, Lakers, and 76ers. But in the end, it's been reported that Love plans to sign with the Maimi Heat.

I'll admit that seeing Love in a jersey that says something other than "Cleveland" or "Cavaliers" will take a little bit of getting used to. He's worn this jersey for the last nine years and it's become a part of him.

At the same time, I'm happy that Love will be in a situation that will hopefully see him get more playing time. This was something that was clearly not going to happen if he remained in Cleveland.

There's no Love lost (pun intended) between Kevin and the rest of Cleveland. He sent out an emotional Tweet on Saturday afternoon which said how much he cares and will still care for the city.

I can't wait to see the tribute video that's put together for him the next time 0 is back in town.
