Former Miami Heat 10-Day Sensation Jamaree Bouyea Signs Same Deal With Washington Wizards

Bouyea had a productive stint with the Heat last month

Jamaree Bouyea has parlayed his time with the Miami Heat into another NBA opportunity.

He is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Washington Wizards. Bouyea was on the same deal with the Heat last month, but wasn't extended because the Heat signed Kevin Love and Cody Zeller.

He averaged 3.8 points in three games, including 10 points against the Denver Nuggets before being waived. Bouyea helped fill in while Duncan Robinson, Victor Oladipo, Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro sidelined with injuries.

Bouyea left an impression before leaving Miami.

“He’s always paying attention and taking notes,” center Bam Adebayo said. “Last game, I told him to cut early and he got a layup. When you talk to him, he definitely can translate what you're saying through the game. You don’t know when you’re gonna get called, and then coach throws you in for 28 minutes."
