Miami Heat's Kyle Lowry Will Also Be Sidelined Saturday Against The Atlanta Hawks
Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said guard Kyle Lowry will also not play Saturday night against the Atlanta Hawks.
Lowry was ruled out for Friday's game against the New York Knicks. After the weekend, he will have missed 11 straight games because of a knee injury.
In the past, Spoelstra has said there is no timetable on his return.
"He's making progress," Spoelstra said. "I do not have a specific time now. He had a good week and we'll keep on progressing."
The Heat expect to have Lowry at some point this season but Gabe Vincent has played well as the replacement starter.
"He working making sure that he's healthy," Spoelstra said of Lowry. "That's the most important thing as we move forward. He's been able to grind through a lot of different pain and discomfort because he's tough. He's a competitor ... We want to get him feeling right."
