Miami Heat's Tyler Herro Worked Out With Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid In Same Week
Miami Heat spent plenty of time in Los Angeles this summer working with trainer Drew Hanlen.
With training camp a month away, he got in some work with a couple opponents this week. Herro worked out with reigning MVP Joel Embiid and Jayson Tatum in a span of a few days.
Two years ago, Herro helped the Heat eliminate Embiid and the 76ers in the second round. Last year Herro was absent for when the Heat knocked out Tatum's Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.
This is arguably the busiest offseason of Herro's career because he is working his way back from a broken hand he sustained against the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round, causing him to miss a run to the NBA Finals.
Staying in the gym often as possible is likely therapeutic for Herro because of the endless speculation of if he remains in Miami Heat this season. He is considered one of the key pieces involved in a potential trade for Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard. Herro has yet to speak publicly about the rumors but has dropped plenty cryptic hints via social media about being unhappy should he leave Miami.
At the moment, both sides have reached a standstill on the trade because the Trail Blazers have yet to agree on any of the Heat's offers. The good thing is it appears Herro will arrives at whichever training camp in top physical shape.
