In next year’s installment of the popular basketball video game NBA 2K, a spotlight is being placed on LeBron James’ time with the Miami Heat.

In the gamemode MyNBA Eras, the following time periods can be seen: The Magic vs. Bird Era, The Jordan Era, The Kobe Era, The LeBron Era, and The Modern Era. ‘The LeBron Era' is a new addition to the list.

The following description will be found beneath James' era:

"The rise of the modern super teams - Will LeBron James and the Heatles go for not five, not six…? What about the MVP trio of Durant, Harden, and Westbrook in OKC? It’s all up to you."

In this mode, the user has the ability to replicate or even rewrite James’ time in Miami. He teamed up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in 2010, forming one of the league’s first Big Three. The trio appeared in four straight Finals, winning in 2012 and 2013. James was also awarded two MVPs during these years.

The Heat have been highlighted on numerous occasions in this year’s game, with superstar Jimmy Butler receiving a near-league-high 95 rating.
