Lakers Notes: Overtime Nail-Biter, Mo Bamba On The Mend, D'Angelo Russell's Foot
Last night, your Los Angeles Lakers lost a soldier (at least temporarily), but they won an overtime battle against the Utah Jazz that helped further solidify their standing as an almost surefire play-in (or better) contender in the Western Conference.
Starting point guard D'Angelo Russell was held out of the game with a sore left foot, and stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James played through injuries while accruing major minutes, but a win is a win. Meanwhile, another LA role player took strides towards making his own return to the floor, possibly as soon as today.
