Magic Starting 5: Anthony Black, Jett Howard Sound Off on Summer League Debuts

1. JETT HOWARD'S LEARNING EXPERIENCE "I feel like I could have shot the ball way better and have been more efficient," Howard said via Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel. "I made some of the right reads on my assists and stuff like that ... It's a learning experience."

2. ANTHONY BLACK SHINES "Black scored 17 points while making 7 of his 10 shots in Orlando's 88-79 loss to the Detroit Pistons Saturday afternoon at the Thomas & Mack Center."

3. WE HAVE TO WIN "Next year, if I'm still with the team, we have to come out and we have to win," Harris said. "We have to win not just for ourselves... we have to win for our coach because we [expletive] with our coach. We really have to lock in."

4. NBA CUP GROUPS "The Magic has been placed in East Group C with the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls."

5. MAGIC SUMMER LEAGUE TONIGHT! After losing in the opening game Saturday afternoon against the Detroit Pistons, the Orlando Magic hopes to grab its first Las Vegas Summer League win against No. 8 overall Jarace Walker and the Indiana Pacers. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on NBA TV.
