Mavs WATCH: Luka Throws Down Massive 2-Handed Dunk Off Backboard

Dallas Mavericks superstar has transformed his body this summer, and the two-handed dunk he threw off the backboard to himself before the Slovenia vs. Greece game on Wednesday shows that.

With every new picture and video clip of Luka Doncic that surfaces, you can see why Dallas Mavericks fans everywhere are excited about the potential for the 2023-24 season.

Doncic, who got engaged over the summer, has taken extremely good care of his body since the Mavs missed the playoffs last season. He's got an incredible tan and looks a lot slimmer, at least 10-15 pounds lighter, we'd say, and he's doing things we haven't seen from him in the last five years because of that.

Before Slovenia's game against Greece on Wednesday, which was a friendly match in preparation of the World Cup that ultimately ended in a 98-91 loss, Doncic showed off his new form in warmups by throwing down a massive, two-handed dunk off the backboard.

Now, to be fair to Doncic, he did throw down some massive in-game dunks last season that got fans out of their seats at the American Airlines Center. However, those dunks didn't have him throwing the ball off the backboard, then cocking it back behind his head before finishing. It was a small act in warmups ahead of a game that didn't count in the World Cup standings, but it just goes to show how Doncic has transformed his body this offseason.

With Doncic in incredible physical shape, the Mavs should be poised for a big bounce-back season, especially considering that they re-signed Kyrie Irving and acquired new faces in Grant Williams, Dereck Lively II, OMax Prosper, Seth Curry, Richaun Holmes and Dante Exum.
