Bengals Open as Betting Favorites For First Time in Four Games
CINCINNATI — The Bengals opened as betting underdogs over the past four games, but that's coming to a close as sportsbooks released Week 15 lines with Cincinnati favored by 3.5 points over Minnesota.
That number has since moved to Bengals -4 at multiple spots as Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson suffered another injury on Sunday.
Cincinnati is now 6-6-1 against the spread (16th in the NFL) after throttling the Colts 34-14 on Sunday. Minnesota is an impressive 7-4-2 ATS (fourth leaguewide) after pushing a three-point line in Sunday's 3-0 win over Las Vegas.
The Bengals can likely only afford to lose one more game this season in pursuit of the playoffs. An NFC loss would hurt less than a dropped game in the final three AFC contests. Win out, and it would be highly unlikely they don't seal up one of the three AFC Wild Card spots.
