Bengals Select Georgia Tight End Brock Bowers in Daniel Jeremiah's Latest Mock Draft

Cincinnati has cycled in new names for its tight end position every year of late.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah hinted at the Bengals' interest in Brock Bowers this week and he has Cincinnati selecting him with the 18th pick in his latest mock draft.

"File this under fits that I selfishly want to see happen," Jeremiah wrote. "It’s highly unlikely Bowers falls this far in Round 1, but let’s just pause and dream for a moment about seeing him joining forces with Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase."

Bowers could be the ultimate skeleton key for the highest heights out of this offense. He is the consensus top tight end available in the 2024 NFL Draft and sixth-ranked player overall.

Drafting him would mark major value at Pick 18 and start him on a path towards being  the Bengals' top tight end for years to come at a position that's been a turnstile under Zac Taylor.
