Former Bengals Assistant Coach Reuniting With Mike Zimmer, Joining Cowboys' Staff
CINCINNATI — Former Bengals defensive coordinator Paul Guenther is joining Mike Zimmer in Dallas.
Guenther replaced Zimmer as the Bengals' defensive coordinator in 2014 after spending nearly a decade as an assistant on Marvin Lewis' staff. Now he'll reunite with Zimmer on the Cowboys' coaching staff.
Guenther will be the defensive run game coordinator. The Cowboys named Zimmer their new defensive coordinator earlier this month.
Guenther was also a senior defensive assistant on Zimmer's staff in Minnesota for the 2021 season.
