Bengals Sign Edge Rusher Tarell Basham

Cincinnati is adding on the margins at this point in free agency.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals added another rotational edge rusher on Friday in Tarell Basham. The former Ohio Bobcat played for Joe Burrow's Dad, Jimmy, on the OU defense last decade and is inking a one-year deal.

Terms of the deal are undisclosed.

Basham's played in 82 NFL games since getting drafted in 2017 by the Colts. He most recently played for the Cowboys (two games) and Titans last season (five games).

He has 128 career tackles, 11 sacks, and 5 forced fumbles.

Cincinnati ranked among the bottom five NFL teams in sacks last season and Basham should be a decent veteran piece to plug in from time to time.
