CBS Sports Places Joe Burrow Second on NFL Offseason QB Ranking

The passer has shot up the NFL hierarchy over the past two seasons.

CINCINNATI — CBS Sports released its NFL quarterback offseason power rankings this week, and Joe Burrow checked in at No. 2 behind Chiefs passer Patrick Mahomes.

The Bengals franchise QB has had a meteoric rise in the league.

"It's a testament to his instant emergence as a precision pocket passer that, three years in, we're already a little surprised he doesn't have his own Super Bowl ring," Cody Benjamin wrote. "The Bengals are in good hands as long as he's got even average protection."

Burrow has answered the bell during back-to-back record-breaking seasons as the Bengals' single-season touchdown leader.

Now, the two biggest QB goals in the sport loom ahead of him: Super Bowl champion and NFL MVP.
