Jake Browning Gets Honest About Adjusting to a Starting QB's Role: 'I'm so Tired of Talking About Myself'

Browning has given fans plenty to talk about amidst back-to-back wins.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — Jake Browning got honest on Tuesday night and revealed he's pretty tired of talking about himself as he continues to adjust to the life of an NFL starting quarterback.

If the new Bengals starter keeps emulating Joe Burrow's performance level, that talk will have to continue.

"I think really the biggest adjustment has been like I'm so tired of talking about myself," Browning said. "I don't have that many opinions on a lot of different things. And I'm like sitting in my locker before this like trying to formulate, 'okay, what is my opinion?' I don't really have one. And so I'm trying to like come up with one, give you guys an answer. But yeah, I think that's really been the biggest adjustment. Now it's everybody wants to know what what do you think about blah blah blah? Not a whole lot. I guess just very simple."

Browning seems like a very down-to-earth guy and that resonates in NFL locker rooms. He had more fun in the presser with a joke about his family's status in Joe Burrow's suite for the rest of the season.

The Bengals franchise QB let Browning's family use it last Sunday to get out of the cold.

"We'll see. I don't know. Just see if they're staying level-headed. If they're getting a little too cocky, might just put them back out in the cold," Browning joked.
