Logan Wilson on His Extension: 'Allows' Bengals to Get Other Deals Done

Cincinnati had a list of extensions it could check off this offseason.

CINCINNATI — Logan Wilson is secured with the Bengals through the 2027 season and he's confident his extension will help Cincinnati ink some of the big ones still looming.

Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins are due for new deals after Wilson just signed a four-year extension worth up to $37.25 million.

“Obviously I know of the guys we want to get done too,” Wilson said about the other extensions. “I still think that this contract allows them to get those things done with those guys and hopefully we’re able to keep them long-term, as well.”

Cincinnati now has a stout linebacker tandem under contract for the near future in Wilson and Germaine Pratt. The Bengals are paying those two less combined guaranteed money than the Ravens are dishing out to star linebacker Roquan Smith.

"Thrilled not only for Logan but for Germaine (Pratt) too earlier this year," Anarumo said. "I feel like we have one of the best tandem of linebackers in the league. And able now to keep Logn for an extended amount of time. He's the play caller on defense."
