CINCINNATI — Free agent safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson is getting plenty of love from potential new teammates, including members of the Bengals.

Gardner-Johnson is PFF's third-rated free agent safety and could make up a nice pair with Dax Hill on Cincinnati's last line of defense. He snagged an NFL-high 6 interceptions last season despite missing five games due to injury.

Jessie Bates III and Vonn Bell are gone, leaving Cincinnati with a wide-open starting spot next to Dax Hill.

The 25-year-old is the exact type of ascending player Cincinnati has targeted in free agency recently, yet, he should command a heft price tag.

Spotrac projects Gardner-Johnson to land a deal worth $13.3 million per year.
