Orlando Brown Jr. Dives Into Close Relationship With Joe Mixon
CINCINNATI — Bengals offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. has re-sparked a relationship with running back Joe Mixon over the past few months that began in their Oklahoma days.
The two spent multiple years playing together for the Sooners last decade and even lived close to one another.
"Oh man, I'm so happy man," Brown said to James Rapien about being back around Mixon. "I'm always talking to Joe man, always vibing out with him out there on the field. We spent so much time together.
"We came into Oklahoma together. So our rooms in college our freshman or sophomore year were right across the hall from each other, so we got a special relationship together, got to know each other off the field, and got to know his family a little bit and vice versa. I'm very happy and excited to get out there with him on Sundays again."
Mixon's future has been up in the air this offseason but he's more and more likely to be the team's bellcow running back with each passing day.
