CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow wasn't on the practice field on Monday, but he was at team facilities.

The star quarterback was in the locker room following the session. He spent time chatting with teammates, including center Ted Karras, before walking to his locker without a limp.

Burrow suffered a right calf strain on Thursday, July 27. He was carted off the practice field and is expected to miss "several weeks" according to head coach Zac Taylor.

Despite the strain, Burrow looked like his normal self walking through the locker room. He was wearing a sleeve on his right calf.

If Burrow was hoping to show everyone that he was alive and well, then he certainly did that on Monday. It's unclear when he'll be back, but he wasn't wearing a boot or riding a scooter, which is common for an NFL player after suffering a calf strain.

That's certainly a good sign for Burrow and for the Bengals with the regular season opener less than six weeks away.
