CINCINNATI — It might not be official and the Bengals coaching staff probably won't admit it, but Jonah Williams is their starting right tackle.

Jackson Carman got the start on Friday night against Green Bay. Meanwhile, Williams was one of the many starters that didn't suit up. That includes the other four starting offensive linemen: Orlando Brown Jr., Cordell Volson, Ted Karras and Alex Cappa.

Williams was always the favorite to win the job and impressed coaches during the first few weeks of training camp.

Head coach Zac Taylor has rotated Williams and Carman for most of camp with the first-team offense.

They wouldn't have kept Williams sidelined if they thought he was still competing for the starting job.

There's no reason for the duo to rotate with the first team in practice moving forward, outside of giving Williams an occasional rest day.
