Myles Murphy Arrives in Cincinnati, Wearing No. 99: 'DJ Reader Wasn't Going to Give up' No. 98
CINCINNATI — The Bengals welcomed new defensive end Myles Murphy into town on Saturday, and he is wearing the last number possible for an NFL player: No. 99.
Murphy told the media that DJ Reader wasn't giving up No. 98.
He's hoping to have a similar impact to the fellow Clemson product as Cincinnati loaded up on defense over the first two days of the 2023 NFL Draft.
"Honestly, the culture and mentality at Clemson is extremely similar, if not the same at Cincinnati," Murphy said. "So really just going from one place to another, but the mentality is the same. The culture's the same. That's great."
Check out some of the moments from his arrival.
