Chase, Sydney Brown Make History at 2023 NFL Draft

The brothers pulled something off that hasn't been seen since 1997.

CINCINNATI — The Brown Brothers made history this past weekend.

According to The Athletic's Jay Morrison, Illinois's Sydney, and Chase Brown became the first brothers since Tiki and Ronder Barber in 1997 to get selected in the opening five rounds of the same NFL Draft.

Sydney, a safety, got taken by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round, while Cincinnati selected Chase in the fifth round.

The two brothers went through a gauntlet of challenges growing up, and TSN told their story before each got selected to an NFL team.
