Report: Cincinnati Landing New Football Team in 2024 as Arena Football League City

Cincinnati has had an arena football team in the past.

CINCINNATI — The Arena Football League is coming to Cincinnati according to Jake Russell of the Washington Post!

The AFL announced 16 team sites for the relaunch in 2024 and Cincinnati is one of them.

The league carried out games from 1987-2009 before folding due to financial issues. It is unknown where the arena team will play its games in Cincinnati.

The city has had arena football before when the Cincinnati Rockers played in 1992 before folding in 1993.
