Giovani Bernard Retiring From NFL

He played for Cincinnati for eight seasons.

CINCINNATI — Longtime Bengals running back Giovani Bernard announced his retirement from the NFL on Friday.

Bernard played for Cincinnati from 2013-20 after getting picked in the second round by the Bengals.

He was a consummate media favorite and pro's pro in the locker room, all while amassing 3,697 rushing yards, and 22 rushing touchdowns. Bernard also caught 367 passes for 2,867 yards, and 14 receiving TDs with the Bengals.

The North Carolina product played his last two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
