Mark Andrews Not Blaming Logan Wilson Following Hip-Drop Tackle Injury: 'Just An Unfortunate Event'

Andrews is just now practicing for the first time since that Nov. 16 injury.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — Ravens tight end Mark Andrews practiced fully this week for the first time since Logan Wilson injured him using a hip-drop tackle on Nov. 16.

The tackle has been a topic of debate this season after several players got injured in the act.

Andrews cracked his fibula and tore ligaments on the play, but he's not blaming Logan Wilson for any kind of dirty intention.

“It kind of was just an unfortunate event,” Andrews said. “I’m just going to let everybody else do their thing. If they want to ban the tackle, fine. I’m going to go hard no matter what. I don’t blame the guy. He was just playing hard.”

It's unknown if Andrews will officially be active for the AFC Divisional Round.
