Report: Browns Trade For Pro Bowl Defensive End Za'Darius Smith
CINCINNATI — The Cleveland Browns traded for Minnesota Vikings star pass rusher Zadarius Smith on Friday. Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported the news.
The three-time Pro Bowler posted 10 sacks and 44 tackles last season.
The Browns now have the likes of Myles Garrett, Dalvin Tomlinson, and Smith along the front seven after struggling in that area in 2022. Garrett was a force but the Browns ranked 25th in yards per carry allowed (4.7 YPC).
Cincinnati opens and closes the season against Cleveland for the first time in team history. Check out the full trade terms.
