Report: Free Agent Tight End Mike Gesicki Signs With New England

Cincinnati is still searching for a new starting tight end.

CINCINNATI — Mike Gesicki has landed on a new NFL home: the New England Patriots.

Multiple reports announced the team is signing him to a one-year deal worth up to $9 million.

Players like Mike Hilton recruited Gesicki to join the Bengals, but he ultimately stays in the AFC East.

He posted 32 catches for 362 yards and 5 touchdowns last season.

The Bengals have a wide-open tight end room, with Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox still on the market.
