Tee Higgins Gives Joe Burrow the All Clear: 'He's Ready To Go'

The 25-year-old underwent an appendectomy on July 25.

CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins isn't concerned about Joe Burrow, even though the star quarterback underwent an emergency appendectomy at the end of July. 

Burrow has been practicing for weeks. Although he hasn't said he's fully recovered, Higgins thinks his quarterback looks like his normal self. 

"He looks all the way to 100% to me," Higgins said with a smile. "Same Joe. Just that killer mindset and he’s ready to go.”

Burrow, Higgins and the Bengals host the Steelers on Sunday afternoon at Paycor Stadium. Cincinnati is hoping to beat Pittsburgh for a fourth consecutive time. 

Kickoff is on Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. ET.
