CINCINNATI — Bengals running back Trayveon Williams was carted off the field on Tuesday after suffering a right ankle injury during individual drills.

It looked serious, but the 25-year-old shared a positive update on social media.

"I’m all good everybody take a deep breath," Williams tweeted.

He suffered a mild sprain and is expected to miss was few weeks according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

WIlliams spent a few minutes on the turf, before trainers brought out the cart and took him to the locker room.

That's great news for a Bengals offense that could lean on the veteran to be their pass blocking back with Samaje Perine no longer on the roster.

With Williams out, Chase Brown and Chris Evans will get more opportunities to show the coaching staff that they can pass protect at a high level in hopes of making a push for that third-down role behind Joe Mixon.
