Browns Greg Newsome II Shuts Down Trade Request Report
It did not take long to get the answer from the man himself who was said to have requested a trade. Cleveland Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II took to Twitter to shut down a report saying he had requested a trade.
Newsome hired a new agency recently in Rosenhaus Sports but plans to remain with the Browns in the future.
Last season with Cleveland, Newsome made 15 starts and made 42 tackles during that time. Playing is due more, it will be interesting to see how Jim Schwartz decides to use him going forward. That decision could impact contract implications and a later future with the team.
