The Arizona Cardinals don't offer much upside for fans in the 2023 season, though there a few exciting pieces to the puzzle fans should be excited for.

First-round pick Paris Johnson has impressed mightily since being drafted, and so too has fellow rookie receiver Michael Wilson.

There's more big names that will get the obvious attention in the desert, but who is Arizona's most exciting young player to watch this year?

Bleacher Report's Matt Holder dubbed WR Rondale Moore as Arizona's most exciting young player ahead of the 2023 season.

"While Kyler Murray still technically qualifies as he's playing out the final year of his rookie contract, Murray has already signed an extension so we'll focus on one of his weapons for the Arizona Cardinals' building block," wrote Holder.

"As a freshman at Purdue, Rondale Moore was an exciting player who logged over 1,200 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns to go along with 21 carries for 213 rushing yards and two more scores. However, injuries limited his playing time as a sophomore and junior which pushed him into the second round of the draft and continue to haunt him as a professional.

"Moore missed a few games as a rookie and got off to a good start in year two with 41 grabs, 414 yards and one touchdown in eight games before ending the year on injured reserve. So, he certainly has potential, but that needs to start coming to fruition this season.

"With DeAndre Hopkins in Tennessee and a new coaching staff in Arizona, that should lead to more targets for Moore in 2024, especially down the field. It's time for him to start building his case for a second contract by improving upon his ADOT of 5.3 yards last season, per Player Profiler.

"A new play-caller should help with the latter, but he also needs to win on deep routes and prove that he can stay on the field."

Moore's utilization has been a topic of heavy discussion since entering the league. Former HC/OC Kliff Kingsbury often involved Moore with jet sweeps and screen passes, and there's hope new OC Drew Petzing will be able to utilize Moore vertically in 2023.

Moore has been Arizona's top slot receiver with Greg Dortch behind him on the depth chart. It's expected that Marquise Brown and a mix of Zach Pascal/Michael Wilson will be the WR trio in usual 11 personnel sets.

If Moore can showcase his speed further than three years from the line of scrimmage and stay healthy, there's a good chance he shows out in 2023.
