Cardinals WR A.J. Green Announces Retirement
The Arizona Cardinals are set to lose some notable names to retirement this offseason.
With just a few weeks left in the regular season, J.J. Watt made it known that he would be entering his last stretch of play in the league. Center Rodney Hudson is rumored to be looking at hanging it up, and now A.J. Green can add himself to that list after announcing via his Instagram that he's putting the cleats away for good.
Green is considered to be one of the best receivers of his generation after dominating for so many years in Cincinnati before moving to Arizona to finish his career. His 11 years in the league saw him total 727 receptions for 10,514 yards and 70 touchdowns.
As Cardinals fans remember, he was able to go out in style with a 77-yard touchdown reception vs. San Francisco.
Congrats on a great career, A.J.!
