Cardinals, Budda Baker Split is Best for Both Sides

The Arizona Cardinals are in quite a unique place. 

Unique might be a fluffed word at this point considering the dysfunction that's surrounded the Cardinals for the last calendar year both on and off the field. 

In the latest turn in events, safety Budda Baker requested a trade after the Cardinals failed to make him the highest paid at his position. 

Baker - just 27 with two years left on his deal - is in search of a new contract and an opportunity to compete. 

Arizona - clearly in a rebuild - is in no position to make anybody the No. 1 earning player at their position.
