After narrowly escaping the Twin Cities with a much-needed win last week, the Los Angeles Chargers are getting ready for their first divisional matchup of the season. They will welcome the Las Vegas Raiders to Sofi Stadium this weekend, and it's a massive game for both sides.

The Bolts need to pick up another win to stay the course. They got the first win of the season to avoid going 0-3, and now they have a chance to get right back in the standings at 2-2. This is a game that the team almost must have with the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs coming down the line after a week five bye week.

“The Chargers went down to the wire with the Vikings and ultimately prevailed, thanks to the defense for coming up huge with two big stops in the fourth quarter, including Kenneth Murray’s game-sealing interception”

Per Gavino Borquez of Chargers Wire

Per BetMGM SportsBook, the Chargers are currently at -5.5 with the spread and -250 on the money line. Vegas seems to believe that the Bolts will win this game, and realistically they should. I'd take the money and run with the Chargers this weekend.

Despite their poor start to the season, the Chargers have looked much better than the Raiders. Las Vegas has struggled to find any consistency early in the year, and they have seen their star wide receiver, Davante Adams, speak out against things happening in the building.

If the Chargers can start their divisional game with a win, it could go a long way for them. They need to build some level of consistency on the field to reach their goals of making it farther than last season.

We should be in for a good matchup this Sunday between two teams that desperately need a win. The kickoff begins at 1:05 p.m. PT.
