It looks like star Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett is in a different situation than we thought he was. After the game on Sunday, head coach Brandon Staley said that what was initially reported as a quad injury is actually a hip injury. We don't exactly know how severe it is, but regardless, the injury is still a little more concerning than we originally thought.

The Chargers added to their secondary depth by signing former Atlanta Falcon Jaylinn Hawkins. It's a definite need for a secondary that's been struggling in depth over the last couple of years through injuries and other things. This could be the jolt that this troubled defense has been looking for all year.
