Just a couple of days after making a round of roster cuts following the 2023 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts are at it again with five more moves.

On Thursday, the Colts announced that they waived defensive end Kameron Cline, tight end Nikola Kalinic, linebacker Forrest Rhyne, defensive tackle Chris Williams, and tight end Jalen Wydermyer.

Removing Cline and Williams from the roster clears room for rookie draft picks Adetomiwa Adebawore (Round 4, Pick 110) and Titus Leo (Round 6, Pick 211). Adebawore should be competing for depth snaps alongside McTelvin Agim, Taven Bryan, and Eric Johnson while Leo tries to disrupt Rashod Berry and Khalid Kareem's chances at the final roster.

The dismissal of Kalinic and Wydermyer seemed like only a matter of time after the Colts selected Will Mallory (Round 5, Pick 162) to go with Mo Alie-Cox, Jelani Woods, Kylen Granson, Andrew Ogletree, and Pharaoh Brown in a loaded tight end room.

As for Rhyne, the Colts did not select any linebackers in the draft last week, but they are expected to announce some undrafted free-agent additions soon, which will likely include some at the position.

On Tuesday, the Colts also announced that they waived running backs Darrynton Evans and Aaron Shampklin, cornerback David Vereen, and wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson.
