Wilson has garnered the attention and respect of numerous National Football League pundits heading into his second season as a pro and Schein has jumped on that bandwagon.

The NFL television and radio show host slotted the New York Jets' top receiver at No. 3 overall in "NFL bandwagons to hop on in 2023: Atlanta Falcons, Garrett Wilson, DeMeco Ryans among stocks to buy." The Falcons headlined Schein's list followed by Pittsburgh Steelers' sophomore quarterback Kenny Pickett at No. 2.

An 1,100-yard rookie season has teased the possibilities of what Wilson can do with Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback. He was one of the NFL's top performing receivers despite the Jets' below-average quarterback play in 2022.

From Schein's "NFL bandwagons to hop on in 2023" article:

3. Garrett Wilson

New York Jets · WR

In 2022, he was the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year. In 2023, I won't be surprised if he enters the All-Pro conversation.

Yep, I'm that bullish. Why? Well, the guy just racked up 83 grabs for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns with a rotating cast of underwhelming quarterbacks. Now he's catching passes from a four-time MVP.

Talking to Aaron Rodgers in a wide-ranging interview on my SiriusXM Radio show, "Schein on Sports," the new Jets quarterback raved about Wilson's ability. ... Take note, fantasy fiends: Wilson's gonna put up numbers.

Wilson was the Jets' main chains-mover last year, gaining first-down yardage on 56 of his 83 receptions. The 56 first downs were 14th most amongst NFL receivers and his averaged 13.3 yards per reception ranked in the Top 30.

Free-agent signee Mecole Hardman called the chance to play alongside Wilson "attractive" during his March 23 introductory press conference.

“They got a great second-year player in Garrett Wilson who had an absolutely unbelievable year," said Hardman.

Jets' passers combined for an 86.6 quarterback rating while targeting Wilson.

Rodgers was highly complimentary of Wilson following a few OTAs workouts, comparing a key piece of the receiver's game to All-Pro Davante Adams.

"His ability to kind of get in and out of his breaks. There’s another 17 [Davante Adams] I played with for a long time who does it better than anybody. The explosiveness, in and out of breaks, to the 17 here, is pretty similar," said Rodgers on the May 2 episode of the Pat McAfee Show.

Schein scored an exclusive interview with Rodgers last week and the Jets' quarterback raved about Wilson on the SiriusXM radio show.

"He's got a great work ethic. He's got very good practice habits. He's incredibly gifted," said Rodgers during his "Schein On Sports" guest appearance. "He has incredible lateral quickness and he also runs in the 4.3s in the 40, so he's got all the skill sets."

The 39-year old Rodgers proceeded to express his excitement about working with the young emerging talent who was the No. 10 overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

"He's so shifty and dynamic with the ball in his hands," said Rodgers. "He's got a chance to be a really, really good player in this league and I'm excited to be here to help him with that development."

Schein, who apparently put stock in Rodgers' words while crafting his NFL.com article, is one of many with high expectations for Wilson in 2023.

Sports Illustrated fantasy expert Michael Fabiano slotted Wilson as the WR10, and 19th-best player overall, in his most-up-to-date rankings.

Appearing on NFL Network's "Total Access," analyst Adam Rank placed Wilson in the Top 5 for 2023 fantasy receivers

"And at number five, this is going to be shocking, I'm going to go with Garrett Wilson," said Rank. "You are going to want to make sure you have Garrett Wilson on your roster this season. Don't be afraid to stack him, either."
