The New York Jets are hoping to have three banged-up starters available for Sunday's divisional battle against the New England Patriots.

With each phase of the game represented, left tackle Duane Brown, defensive end John Franklin-Myers and kicker Greg Zuerlein are all listed as questionable on the final official injury report that was filed on Friday afternoon. Franklin-Myers and Zuerlein were full participants in practice for the first time this week while Brown was a DNP for the third day in a row.

The 38-year-old Brown, who was following a maintenance plan after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery, began experiencing a hip problem earlier this week. Jets' head coach Robert Saleh said Brown was having his hip examined on Friday hence his absence from the facility.

"Duane Brown, you guys won’t see him today," said Saleh. "I still feel good about his availability for Sunday, but he is just getting some things checked out with the doctor."

Brown has played 100 percent of offensive snaps through the first two games.

"We got plans in place [should Brown be unable to play], unlikely we use them," said Saleh.

Veteran Billy Turner would likely slide into Brown's spot at left tackle, if needed.

Meanwhile, Franklin-Myers, who saw 46 reps (53 percent) against the Cowboys, is nursing a hip issue that isn't expected to keep the edge rusher out of the Week 3 home game.

"He’s dealing with a hip, but he should be good to go for the game," said Saleh on Wednesday in Florham Park. "When you look at all the defensive guys with having played almost 90 plays, we’re just trying to take it easy on that side of the ball a little bit."

Zuerlein has been on the shelf since tweaking his groin during a September 14 practice. The injury kept the 35-year-old veteran out of the Week 2 road game at Dallas, forcing the Jets to add Austin Seibert to the Practice Squad and subsequently designate the kicker as a gameday elevation.

"Zuerlein's gonna kick today. See where he's at," said Saleh on Friday.

Franklin-Myers and Zuerlein both saw their injury status progressively improve as the week transpired. They started as non-participants on Wednesday before moving to limited on Thursday and improving to full participation on Friday.

Two Gang Green players have already been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Patriots. After injuring his hamstring in the second quarter at Dallas, starting free safety Tony Adams won't suit up in Week 3. Meanwhile, veteran backup interior offensive lineman Wes Schweitzer is unable to play after suffering a concussion this week.

"Schweitzer, unfortunately suffered a concussion yesterday in practice. He'll be out," said Saleh during his final media briefing prior to kickoff.

For New England, second-year cornerback Marcus Jones landed on Injured Reserve on Friday. Jones, whose 84-yard punt return touchdown sent the Pats to a 10-3 win over the Jets last year, suffered a torn labrum in a Week 2 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Five other Patriots were limited in practice on Friday and carry a questionable tag heading into the weekend.
