The rise of Seattle Seahawks rookie receiver Jake Bobo throughout the offseason was one of the more captivating storylines for team ahead of the regular season.

The undrafted free agent took everything before him, and it wasn't long before "Bobo Mania" gripped the Seattle fanbase. His efforts during OTAs, minicamp, training camp, and then the preseason games gave Seahawks fans a lot to be excited about.

However, in the opening two games of the season, Bobo has barely been sighted, getting just one reception for three yards. Head coach Pete Carroll admitted that they haven't seen enough of Bobo yet and hinted that it might change soon. The Seahawks host the Carolina Panthers for a Week 3 battle on Sunday.

“We haven’t gotten enough of Bobo,” Carroll said with a smile. “We kind of got going with him, but I’d like to see him become more part of it. He’s busting his tail, he’s ready to go, he’s ready to do whatever we need him to do, and we love having him on the club. He’s got so much versatility and so many unique traits that he brings us. It won’t be long.”

Hmm, "won't be long."

Does that mean we could see a big dose of Bobo in front of the Seahawks faithful on Sunday at Lumen Field? Fans sure hope so.

After exploding onto the scene in training camp, Bobo set the preseason on fire as he grabbed seven receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns in Seattle's three preseason games.

As we know, the road to becoming a consistent contributor is anything but a straight one.

But Bobo has already shown his talent, and while his opportunities have been limited thus far, Carroll has hinted that the rookie could become more involved very soon.

Bobo Mania could be set to grip Lumen Field on Sunday against Carolina.
