Browns Offense Gets Huge Boost Before Steelers Game
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers Week 2 matchup just got more difficult as the Cleveland Browns will have their star wide receiver available at Acrisure Stadium.
The Browns were worried that wideout Amari Cooper would miss Week 2 due to a groin injury he suffered during the practice week. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Cooper will play despite being listed as questionable.
Cooper caught three passes for 37 yards in Week 1 during the Browns' win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Against the Steelers last season, he recorded seven receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown in the first matchup, but did not play in the second.
Pittsburgh's secondary will have tough matchups across the board against Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones. Patrick Peterson and Levi Wallace will look to bounce back against Deshaun Watson after giving up 220 yards and two scores to Brock Purdy in Week 1.
