Steelers WR George Pickens Suffers Hamstring Injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver core has another issue to monitor.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered another injury to their wide receiver, and have another player to monitor heading into Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.

Wide receiver George Pickens was listed on the team's final injury report as a limited participant in the last practice due to a hamstring injury. He was not listed on the report throughout the week.

It's unknown if Pickens suffered the injury during practice or if the issue came up earlier and started to bother him. If it is new, the team will have two more days to settle the injury, and right now, Pickens is not listed with an injury designation on the team's final report.

Pittsburgh is already down their top wideout with Diontae Johnson out with a hamstring injury. Johnson is expected to miss multiple weeks, with Pickens, Calvin Austin and Allen Robinson taking over the starting roles in his absence.

Right now, Pickens' injury isn't something fans should stress over, but more of an issue to keep an eye on.
