Jaguars RB Travis Etienne Suffers Ankle Injury vs. Steelers
PITTSBURGH -- The Jacksonville Jaguars offense took a blow against the Pittsburgh Steelers as running back Travis Etienne left early in the second half with an ankle injury.
Etienne rushed 15 times for 61 yards prior to his departure but was announced to have suffered the injury as is questionable to return to the game as of the third quarter. In his place, Tank Bigsby will take control of the Jaguars backfield.
The matchup between the two AFC foes has been littered with big-name injuries. Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick also left with injuries. Pickett (ribs) is expected to return, while Fitzpatrick (hamstring) was ruled out.
Bigsby, a rookie out of Auburn, has rushed 20 times for 45 yards and two touchdowns this season for Jacksonville. D'Earnest Johnson, a former Cleveland Brown, is also available for the Jaguars.
