PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a handful of injuries during their preseason victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team left their opener with four players being evaluated.

Defensive tackle Keeanu Benton, cornerback Duke Dawson and linebackers Nick Kwiatkoski and Chapelle Russell all left early in Tampa Bay, with none of the four returning. Benton suffered an ankle injury, Dawson a knee, Kwiatkoski a shoulder and Rusell a knee as well.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said after the game that all players will continue to be evaluated as the team heads back to Saint Vincent College for the final week of training camp.

Without Benton, the team will turn to Breiden Fehoko, Montraveius Adams and Armon Watts at nose tackle. He recorded three tackles before he departure.

If Dawson is set to miss time, it'll limit the Steelers' nickelback competition to Elijah Riley and Chandon Sullivan. Without Kwiatkoski and Russell, the team is limited to five inside linebackers - Kwon Alexander, Cole Holcomb, Elandon Roberts, Mark Robinson and Tanner Muse.

The Steelers are set to return to practice on Sunday, where Tomlin should have more information on the team's injury list.
