The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will hold a significant number of players back against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

PITTSBURGH -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without 19 players, including most of their starting lineup, when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers for their preseason opener.

The Buccaneers and Steelers released their lists of players who are expected not to play. While Pittsburgh's list included no names, Tampa Bay named 19 players who will not suit up.

Running back Rachaad White, linebackers Shaquil Barrett, Devin White, Charles Snowden, Lavonte David, and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, wide receivers Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Rakim Jarrett, defensive backs Ryan Neal, Carlton Davis, Antoine Winfield, and Jamal Dean, defensive linemen Vita Vea, Calijah Kancey and Greg Gaine, and offensive linemen Ryan Jensen, Matt Feiler and Tristan Wirfs have all been ruled out.

The Steelers will likely keep some players back, and are expected to limit other starts to minimum action. Quarterback Kenny Pickett will reportedly be one of those who are limited, as he's expected to play just one drive.
