Steelers Interested in Myles Jack Return

The Pittsburgh Steelers are considering a reunion to help recover from their inside linebacker injuries.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are considering a reunion with inside linebacker Myles Jack. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, now that the veteran has cleared waivers following his release by the Philadelphia Eagles, the two sides are discussing a return.

Jack was released during free agency after the Steelers signed Cole Holcomb and Elandon Roberts. He eventually signed with the Eagles during training camp but announced his retirement only two weeks later. Now, entering Week 11 and with the Steelers dealing with injuries, he's contemplating a return.

Jack, 28, started 13 games for Pittsburgh last season, collecting 104 tackles.

The Steelers are expected to sign Mykal Walker to their 53-man roster and give Tariq Carpenter another opportunity as a call-up from the practice squad for Week 11. Still, don't rule out Jack signing and the Steelers looking to add him to the active roster once accommodated with the defense again.
