PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers will have decisions to make at quarterback this offseason, with one answer being to go through the NFL Draft. And in one of the latest mocks, they land a Heisman finalist in the first round.

In Fox Sports' new mock, the Steelers select 23rd and use that pick to take Oregon quarterback and Heisman finalist Bo Nix.

"He turns 24 in February, and yes, you could argue they just tried this with Kenny Pickett, who started 49 college games (but only had one good season). Nix has been better for longer, and after 61 starts, looks like a very polished prospect," analyst Josh McIntyre writes.

Nix finished his career with 15,352 passing yards and 113 touchdowns to 26 interceptions. In his two years at Oregon, he completed 658 of 879 passes for 8,101 yards and 74 touchdowns, with just 10 interceptions.

The addition of Nix would likely mean the end of Mason Rudolph's time with the Steelers. Chances are, Pickett won't be leaving Pittsburgh this offseason, and the addition of Nix could lead to competition. Still, it would open the door and likely indicates a change at the quarterback position in 2024.

A playoff run over the next few weeks to alter their plans or thoughts on keeping Rudolph long-term.
