PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers added another running back to their 90-man roster, signing Greg Bell ahead of their second week of training camp.

Bell joins the Steelers after spending the 2022 season on the Detroit Lions practice squad. The 25-year-old went undrafted out of San Deigo State last offseason after rushing for 1,728 yards and 15 touchdowns, including nine 100-yard performances. He was a second-team Mountain West selection twice.

Bell joins John Lovett as the Steelers new running backs. Pittsburgh tried out four runners during their off day and decided to add two, one filling the role of Alfonzo Graham and the other replacing Jason Huntley, who they released.

Graham will miss the season due to a torn labrum.

Bell and Lovett will compete with Anthony McFarland and Darius Hagans for the team's final running back spot behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.
