New Steelers Impress at Training Camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers newcomers look promising.
In this story:

LATROBE -- The Pittsburgh Steelers put the pads on and showed out to open Week 2 of training camp at Saint Vincent College, and the biggest names that shined were the newcomers.

The Steelers now have a training camp rivalry in Joey Porter Jr. and George Pickens, and both players decided to have themselves a great day in Week 2. Pickens got the best of Porter with an unreal catch, but the rookie corner didn't shut himself down. Things just got better.

The linebacker core looks to be much stronger than we imagined. With Kwon Alexander practicing for the first time, you quickly saw just why Pittsburgh signed him. You also saw why they added the other two veterans as well.

And if you haven't heard about Darnell Washington with pads on, you're missing out. The rookie tight end did everything you hoped he would and more once things got physical.
