Steelers LB Looks Like a Superstar

The Pittsburgh Steelers have two stars at outside linebacker.
In this story:

LATROBE -- The Pittsburgh Steelers knew they had something in Alex Highsmith when they extended him. And in the NFL, players don't get paid for what they've done, but what they're going to do.

Right now, Highsmith looks like he's going to be a complete superstar this season.

Through six days of practice, Highsmith has stood out as maybe the best player on the field for the Steelers defense. He's unstoppable for opposing offensive linemen, and even when rookie tight end Darnell Washington was able to shut down T.J. Watt, he wasn't able to shut down Highsmith.

His spin looks better than ever, he appears leaner and strong and his burst off the line of scrimmage is unmatched.

The Steelers have always won through their pass rush, and having two outside linebacker that are within the best in the NFL is exactly what they're looking for.

Highsmith appears to be entering superstar status, and if his play at camp continues at the level it's been, he's going to be an elite edge rusher this season.
