Steelers Have No Choice With Matt Canada

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a huge decision to make about the future of their team.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have a decision to make. Chances are, they aren't even thinking about it, but if they paid attention to the crowd in Week 2, and the result on the field the last two games, they'd realize how risky they're being by ignoring it.

During the Steelers Week 2 matchup with the Cleveland Browns, 'Fire Canada' chants broke out so loud, you could audibly hear it inside the press box. Of all the chants fans have made over the years, this was one of the loudest.

Meanwhile, on the field, the offense was outscored by the defense, and a trend of unsuccessful play-calling seemed the be the issue.

The Steelers proved that Week 1 was a fluke - at least on defense. George Pickens and Calvin Austin also proved they're capable of making plays, and Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren are becoming a great one-two punch in the backfield.

Kenny Pickett is struggling, but the Steelers aren't going to give up on a quarterback they just drafted a year ago.

They also probably aren't giving up on their offensive coordinator. But the longer they ignore the decision at least to evaluate the play-calling, the more at risk they're putting all odds of being something better than average.

This team has the talent to do big things but the ignorance to waste that talent.

The Steelers might blow their window by sticking to their guns.
